The formatting is off, hard to transfer from FD onto the Blog format. Regardless, here are the first few pages of my screenplay.
EXT. MANHATTAN | DAY
The midday sun cuts through the city landscape--
Below, the streets are flooded with a slow flow of vehicles
and pedestrians. The usual activity at this time of day.
EXT. 13TH PRECINCT | DAY
A short-haired male in police uniform strolls toward the
entrance, glances right--
NATALYA KOVALEV (23), catches the gaze but turns her
attention back to VLADDY KOVALEV (50) who address a crowd of
reporters. ARKADI (47), DESYA (17) and DIMITRI KOVALEV (21)
The male continues through the open door and up the steps--
INT. 13TH PRECINCT 3RD FLOOR | CONTINUOUS
THREE CROOKED COPS, wearing casual attire, stroll down a
CROOKED COP 1
We just got him an hour ago, alone,
but with ki’s. He’s in a room right now.
Crooked Cop 2 smiles and rubs his hands together.
CROOKED COP 2
Aye, Seamus is sure gonna be happy. You know how
long he’s been waiting for something like this?
Crooked Cop 3 nods.
CROOKED COP 3
Too fucking long.
They make a turn down an adjacent hall.
The short-haired male, his head low, strolls through down a
hall, one of THEM. Other OFFICERS pass paying no attention.
The male reaches a room and opens the door, stepping in,
passing a sign reading “Security Room.” He closes the door
A security camera, a red recording-light glowing, rests above
An OFFICER, listening to an Ipod, sits in front of several
screens. His eyes are closed and he HUMS a song melody.
The male approaches from behind, pulling out a knife. When
within reach he slams the butt of the knife to the side of
the OFFICERS head.
The OFFICER slouches, unconscious, a stream of blood pouring
from his skull.
The male scans the screens, one of them catches his eye--
ON SCREEN 8:
The THREE CROOKED OFFICERS stand in front of an interrogation
The male turns and finds a large power source and unplugs
everything in it. All of the screens go black and everything
in the room shuts off except the light above.
A camera rests above in the corner of a room. It’s red
recording light flicks off--
CROOKED COP 1 stares through a one-way window at a handcuffed
MOBSTER sitting on a chair in one of the interrogation rooms.
CROOKED COP 1
(into Cell Phone)
Yeah, we’re just about to talk to him Seamus... OK.
I’ll let you know as soon as we know.
He hangs up and pockets the phone.
CROOKED COP 3 (O.S.)
You shouldn’t be talking to him in here.
He ignores that.
CROOKED COP 2 (O.S.)
So he hasn’t said nothing yet, aye?
Shakes his head.
CROOKED COP 2 (O.S.) (CONT'D)
How do you know he made a deal with Gardner then?
CROOKED COP 1
We know he works with Vanzini and the Bagleiri’s.
Crooked Cop 2 shrugs, and glances to Crooked Cop 3 who
CROOKED COP 2
Okay, well that’s a start. Now, we just gotta make him squeal.
They all move towards the door, Crooked Cop 3 reluctantly
turns to them.
CROOKED COP 3
Yeah, and we better hurry before the Gwyllion shows up.
They all chuckle. Crooked Cop 2 pushes past and opens the
door, entering the room.
INTERROGATION ROOM 3
He stops and stares at the seated Mobster. The other cops
enter and stand on each side.
Crooked Cop 2 lightly pushes the door, It slowly begins to
A foot stops it--
The door is kicked open, crooked cop 2 is knocked over--
AIDAN BAGLEIRI (29), short-haired, mysterious green eyes,
wearing a police uniform, enters into the room--
He quickly draws two silenced pistols, aiming, and SHOOTING both Crooked
Cop 1 and 3 in the face--
Crooked Cop 2 stands and turns around--
Facing a long silencer barrel, it FIRES--
He takes a bullet in the eye, falling dead.
Aidan glances to the Mobster, who nervously glances at the bodies then
makes eye contact, recognizing--
Aidan? Aidan Bagleiri?
He motions around the room.
This is you?
Aidan aims the pistol. The Mobster slowly begins to rise.
No. Aidan, I know Johnny and Frank. I’m close with them.
Come on, I’m not gonna say anything.
You know my name.
Aidan FIRES twice, fatal shots to the Mobster’s chest. He
turns, holsters the pistols and exits the room, closing the
door behind him.
He pass a fire alarm, pulling it, loud BEEPING begins, he
turns opening a door to a stairway, taking it down. The door
EXT. 13TH PRECINCT | MOMENTS LATER
Aidan exits the precinct, many people have gathered around
the sidewalk. Natalya approaches him as he reaches the crowd.
Excuse me, officer, what’s going on in there?
Aidan turns and shyly shrugs.
I’m not quite sure. Someone should make an announcement soon.
OK. Thank you?
He just turns and walks off, leaving a confused Natalya
He vanishes amongst the masses.
INT. QUEENS DINER | DAY
AIDAN keeps his head low but between bites of his roasted
chicken dinner, his eyes scan--
He sits alone amidst a fairly busy environment of families,
couples, and college groups. The waitresses rush to their
Aidan pays the cashier with a few bills, she keeps the
EWAN MCGREGOR enters and passes by, snarling at him. Aidan
ignores it and leaves the diner. Ewan watches him go than
takes a seat in a booth.
EXT. DINER | CONTINUOUS
Aidan struts along the crowded sidewalk, keeping aware. His
eyes become locked--
MARILLA MCKAY (27), beautifully kept with a touch of class,
carries a conversation on her cell phone as she paces towards
His steps begin to drag, he stares into--
Her green eyes, just before they close with frustration. She
heads right for him, strained as she speaks--
He watches curiously, admirably--
Her eyes open, she stares but not at anything in particular--
He’s mesmerized, staring, dazed--
They collide into one another, her phone flies out of her
Aidan takes a step back and reaches, catching it before it
strikes the ground--
He straightens himself and turns, she’s impressed. He hands
the phone over to her.
He shrugs. They begin looking at one another, an awkward
silence, people passing around them as if they are pylons.
Sorry for running... Um, sorry for bumping...
They both become shy.
Wasn’t really paying attention...Was on the phone.
Yeah, me too. Well, I wasn’t on the phone, just uh, distracted.
She examines him, catches him doing the same.
You look familiar. I feel like I’ve met you before.
I was thinking the same thing...
He reluctantly nods.
She smiles. He cannot help but smile back.
Nice to meet you, Aidan.
His cell phone VIBRATES. He pulls it out of his pocked and
A text message, reading:
From: Johnny. Frank wants you to come in.
He closes the phone and glances up to her.
Yeah, I’m also supposed to be meeting up with someone right
around here. Trying to tell them my exact location, I got lost, well
sort of took off from my convey.
Aidan chuckles, sort of confused. She smiles and waves it
It’s a long story.
He nods and smiles.
Yeah, we all got our share of those.
Well, take care.
He turns and walks off, vanishing into the crowd. She watches
for a moment, then turns to face Ewan who comes to a
Marilla, what the fuck are you doing? I’ve been sitting inside
waiting for you.
Well I’m right here. I thought you’d be waiting for me outside?
Ewan waves her off and turns walking toward the Diner
Come on, the investors will be here any minute. I wanna make sure your
prepped enough, your dad’s got big expectations.
He always does.
He turns and faces her, holding the door open.
Just make sure you put on that beautiful smile the whole time.
She glowers and walks toward the door, her head low--
Aidan watches on over his shoulder as he continues down the
sidewalk. He glances away and then fades into the masses--

All of these videos were filmed and produced with substandard equipment and resources, most, in fact, with a handycam. Regardless, they have been fun and a lot of experience has been gained.
